HABC Partners with Health Department on Emergency Preparedness Awareness

September is National Preparedness Month. The Office of Resident Services and Resident Services, Inc. (RSI) are partnering with the Baltimore City Health Department, the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and the Day at the Market Program to host a PrepareAthon event.

WHEN: September 20, 2018 from 10:00am-2:00pm
WHERE: Pleasant View Gardens Community Center, 201 Aisquith Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
WHO: The event will educate the Resident Advisory Board (RAB) leadership and other resident leaders about how to prepare their communities for disasters.
WHAT: Attendees will receive a community preparedness toolkit with useful resources for individuals, families and those who are elderly or disabled to make their communities safer, more resilient, and better prepared. Several vendors and speakers geared toward education in disaster preparedness for metropolitan cities will be in attendance.
